Official Rules

  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.

  • PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND DECISIONS, CONSENT TO USE AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS. By entering this contest, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by all contest rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the contest. Participation in this contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of National Recognition Products, Inc. ("NRP") and its parent, affiliates, employees and agents, which are final, binding and non-negotiable in all respect. Each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless NRP and its parent, affiliates, shareholders, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers from any liability arising from or related to the contest, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Further, entrants fully and unconditionally release all claims for consideration, copyright infringement and all other claims of any nature relating to the use of their entry, name or likeness.

  • ELIGIBILITY. This contest is open to U.S. students who will graduate from high school in 2010. Students 17 years of age or younger will require parental consent. Proof of age and identity must be furnished upon request. Employees, agents, independent dealers and affiliates of NRP and its agents, affiliates and immediate family members of all such persons, are not eligible to participate in this contest. NRP reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, suspend or amend this contest at any time for any reason. NRP further reserve the right to amend these contest rules at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion. NRP reserve the right to disqualify any participant for any reason, including, but not limited to, violation of these Official Rules or infringement of the rights of a third-party.

  • TO ENTER. This contest will run between July 7, 2009 and April 2, 2010. On or about the week of May 3 2009, catalogs will be provided to NRP sales representatives. The entry form will be made available at www.nrponline.com. To enter this contest, entrants are asked to fill in the entrant's name, address, high school name, nominee's name and brief essay explaining how the nominee has improved the entrant's high school experience and/or how the nominee has helped the entrant succeed in reaching graduation ("Eligible Entries") to be eligible to win this contest. Please only one entry per person. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Persons submitting entries under false pretenses will be disqualified. NRP is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind. NRP is not responsible for any lost or misdirected mail sent by Participant or NRP.

  • PRIZES. There will be one (1) nominee selected as the winner from all Eligible Entries on or about the week of May 1, 2010. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges, selected solely by NRP. The winner will be selected by the judges based upon the involvement of the nominee in the student's high school experience and the actions of the nominee which demonstrate the nominee's commitment to education and helping the student reach graduation. Judges will also consider the quality of the entrant's essay. The nominee selected as the winner and the individual submitting the entry on behalf of the nominee and will both receive a $100 Visa® Gift Card. Visa is in no way sponsoring or endorsing this contest. The winner must sign a copy of these Official Rules and a form releasing NRP from all claims, in order to receive the prize. The nominator's school will also receive free product starting at a $300 value for the 2009 graduating class. All decisions of the judges of this contest are final, binding and non-negotiable. No prize may be transferred or substituted.

  • IDENTIFICATION OF WINNER. NRP will contact the entrant at the information provided on the entry form on or about the week of May 1, 2010 to collect contact information for the nominee. The winner must accept the prize by signing and returning the Authorization and Release and a copy of these contest rules no later than May 15, 2010. In the event the nominator of the winner is under the age of 18, the nominator must accept the prize by having signed and returning to NPR the Authorization and Release, the Parental Consent Form, and a copy of these contest rules signed by a parent or legal guardian. No prize will be awarded until such documentation is received by NRP. The winner's name and entry will also be posted at www.nrponline.com.

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules.
